Opening of registrations for the female leadership program

The APGA Women’s Leadership Development Program was developed specifically for women in the energy industry.

The program is designed to provide women in industry the opportunity to network and develop skills that will help them succeed in the pipeline and gas industries.

Present for three years, the event welcomed attendees from across the industry, from engineers to executive assistants, business analysts to site controllers.

“We encourage women employed in any capacity in our industry to enroll in the program,” the APGA said.

Building on the successes of the five programs held since 2019, the 2022 program will consist of four workshops: two face-to-face and two virtual.

The program will be led by Gretchen Gagel of Greatness Consulting, who designed and implemented a similar program for the American Gas Association and was instrumental in establishing this program for APGA.

Places on the program are limited and open only to APGA members, and the cost of the program is $2,300.

The proposed dates for the program are as follows.

First face-to-face workshop: Wednesday March 16 and Thursday March 17 in Adelaide.

Second face-to-face workshop: Wednesday August 24 and Thursday August 25 in Sydney.

The locations have not yet been announced and the APGA will communicate the dates of the virtual workshops shortly.
